Special Issue on Structural Geology
Structural
geology is a sub-discipline of geology that studies how rocks deform in
response to the stresses that act within the Earth. It concerned with rock
deformation on both a large and a small scale. The goal of this special issue
is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of
Structural Geology.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Structural Geology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Karst
-
Landform evolution
-
Lithospheric deformation
-
Mineralization
-
Oil, gas and mineral exploration
-
Ore deposits
-
Orogeny
-
Petrology
-
Resource exploration
-
Rock deformation
-
Tectonic evolution
-
Primary structures
-
Tectonic structures
-
Mechanical properties of rock
-
Rock mass structure
-
Geological modelling
-
Deformation processes and systems
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic
copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission
System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Structural
Geology” should be selected during your submission.
