Special Issue on Coastal Resources and Conservation
The coastal zone is essential to marine life and
supports a large part of the world's living marine resources, certainly more
than the open sea. Its wetlands, lagoons, seagrass beds, coral reefs and
shallow bays are nursery or feeding areas for most coastal and many oceanic
species. This zone has the highest biological diversity of any part of the sea.
The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and
academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new
issues and developments in this area of Coastal
Resources and Conservation.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Coastal
Resources and Conservation. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
