Special Issue on GIS & Data Visualization

Geographic information visualization is the use of graphics, computer graphics and image processing technology to display and interact with the results and data of geoscience information input, processing, query, analysis, and prediction in graphical symbols, icons, text, tables, videos, etc. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of GIS & Data Visualization.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring GIS & Data Visualization. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Statistical data visualization in GIS
• Mapping and data visualization
• Spatial data visualization in healthcare
• 3D visualization of GIS data
• GIS visualization technology
• Visualization processes and patterns
• Application of geographic information visualization
• Spatial data analysis and visualization
• Multidimensional dynamic visualization in GIS

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
