Special Issue on Biopolymer Materials

Biopolymer materials have been widely applied in clinical treatment with excellent mechanical properties, abrasion resistance and processing performance. It can be utilized in artificial blood vessel, pacemaker, tissue engineering scaffold and so on. The advantages on performance and environmentally friendly of biopolymer materials are irreplaceable compared with synthetic polymers. With the development of genetic engineering and tissue engineering, biopolymer materials have become the hotspot of novel materials for research in the world.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring biopolymer materials. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Chitosan
• Biodegradable
• Hydrogel
• Biocompatibility material
• Drug carrier
• Biomedical polymer materials
• Composite polymer materials
