Special Issue on Saccharomyces Cerevisiae

Saccharomyces Cerevisiae is a species of yeast. It is perhaps the most useful yeast, having been instrumental to winemaking, baking, and brewing since ancient times. It is one of the most intensively studied eukaryotic model organisms in molecular and cell biology, much like Escherichia coli as the model bacterium.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring saccharomyces cerevisiae. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Life cycle
  • Nutritional requirements
  • Cell cycle
  • Molecular and cell biology Research
  • In the study of aging
  • Meiosis, recombination and DNA repair
  • Genome sequencing
  • Gene function and interactions
  • Applications in winemaking, baking, and brewing

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Saccharomyces Cerevisiae” should be selected during your submission.
