Special Issue on Sequences and Series
Series is the summation of an infinite sequence of numbers and is produced by a formula or an algorithm. For any sequence of rational numbers, real numbers, complex numbers, functions thereof, etc., the associated series is defined as the ordered formal sum: . Series plays an important role in the function research either in theory or practice, because the elementary function can be expressed by series and series solution, like the expressions of differential equation solution. Infinite series are also widely used in other quantitative disciplines such as physics, computer science, and finance. As an indispensable fundamental in research subjects, sequences and series are of great attractions to researchers.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore sequences and series. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Power series
-
Taylor series
-
Convergence of the series
-
The investigation on the properties of series
-
Researches on function series
-
Expansion of a function
-
Researches on series functions
-
The applications of series theory
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Sequences and Series” should be selected during your submission.
