The field of robotics began in the 1960s and 1970s
with the design and control of general purpose robotic manipulators. Robotics
is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science that includes
mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and others.
Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as
well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information
processing. Modeling and controlling are very important parts of Robotics.
In
the present book, fifteen typical literatures about Robot
Modeling and Control published on international authoritative journals
were selected to introduce the worldwide newest progress, which contains
reviews or original researches on robotics, Computer science, industry, ect. We hope this book can demonstrate advances in Robot Modeling and Control as well as give references
to the researchers, students and other related people.
