ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to determine empirical evidence of the
effect of the influence of self-efficacy and work environment on employee
performance with motivation as an intervening variable in an empirical study of employees of PT Sarana Indoguna Lestari Surabaya. This research
is causal in nature, and uses primary data of 135 respondents with purposive
sampling technique. Amos’s Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis program
was used to measure the relationship between research variables. The results
showed that Self-efficacy does not have a significant effect on performance,
while the work environment has a significant effect on performance and the
motivation variable is able to mediate Self-efficacy and work environment on
performance, so that it has a significant positive effect on performance.
