Special Issue on Smoking, Alcoholism and Health

The special issue on “Smoking, alcoholism and Health” will be focusing on the latest research in tobacco, alcohol abuse and their effects on health. Tobacco and alcohol are legal substances used by thousands of people everyday. Both of smoking and alcohol abuse can cause a lot of negative mental and physical effects. In fact, smoking and alcoholism have a high rate of co-occurrence in the general population. Some effects common to both substances include increased cancer and heart disease risk, as well as chronic organ damage. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of smoking, alcoholism and health.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring smoking, alcoholism and health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Co-morbidity of alcoholism and smoking
• Health risks of alcohol abuse
• Health risks of tobacco abuse
• Quit smoking and drinking

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
