Special Issue on Earthquake Engineering
Severe earthquake threats breed earthquake engineering research. Earthquake
engineering is an engineering science that takes effective measures to prevent
all kinds of disasters that may be caused by sudden earthquake attack. There
are no projects or structures on the earth that can be separated from the site
or foundation. The damage of earthquakes to civil engineering is first of all
site and foundation. Based on seismology and geology, it mainly studies the
characteristics of ground motion and the damage of buildings during
earthquakes, involving many aspects of civil engineering, machinery,
electronics, water conservancy and so on.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring earthquake engineering.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Seismic design
-
Geotechnical
earthquake engineering and site effect
-
Strong
earthquake observation and analysis
-
Antiseismic
checking calculation
-
Structural
health monitoring
-
Earthquake
simulation
-
Structural
control technologies and intelligent materials
-
Vibration
problems in civil architecture, road, bridge and water conservancy
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Earthquake
Engineering” should be chosen during your submission.
