Advances in Cardiovascular Surgery
Cardiovascular surgery is surgery on the heart or great vessels performed by cardiac surgeons. Frequently, it is done to treat complications of ischemic heart disease (for example, coronary artery bypass grafting), correct congenital heart disease, or treat valvular heart disease from various causes including endocarditis, rheumatic heart disease and atherosclerosis. It also includes heart transplantation.
A major concern with cardiovascular surgery is the incidence of neurological damage. The development of cardiac surgery and cardiopulmonary bypass techniques has reduced the mortality rates of these surgeries to relatively low ranks.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Cardiovascular surgery.
Authors should read over the journal’s Author Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the“Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue- Cardiovascular surgery”should be chosen during your submission.
