Special issue on Infant Health

The term infant is typically applied to young children between the ages of 1 month and 12 months; however, definitions may vary between birth and 3 years of age. A newborn is an infant who is only hours, days, or up to a few weeks old. In medical contexts, newborn or neonate refers to an infant in the first 28 days after birth. During these first days of life, the child is at highest risk of dying. It is thus crucial that appropriate feeding and care are provided during this period, both to improve the child’s chances of survival and to lay the foundations for a healthy life.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Infant Health.

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal  Paper Submission System.
