Special Issue on Recent Advances in Stent in Cardiopathy

 

Cardiac stents, also known as coronary stents, are commonly used in cardiac interventional procedures as medical devices to unclog the arterial blood vessels. As the most effective medical device to treat coronary artery disease, Stent in cardiopathy is of great importance in cardiopathy treatment.

 

Ideal stent in cardiophathy should be flexible, traceable and antithrombotic, with a good biocompatibility, reliable expansion performance and compliance of hydrodynamics. Science the first heart stent intervention operation succeed in 1980s, heart stents have developed 3 generations, metal stents, coated stents and soluble stent. However, neither of the above mentioned stent is perfect, developing novel stent in cardiopathy has been one of the hotspot in field of coronary artery treatment. We noted that stents in cardiopathy developed rapidly in recent years, this special issue is aimed at providing researchers a platform to communicate academic achievements of Stent in Cardiopathy.

 

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Recent Advances in Stent in cardiopathy.

 

Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at Authors' Guidelines. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at Paper Submission System.
