Special Issue on Advances in Mental Illness Research
Mental illness refers to a wide range of
mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking and
behavior. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia,
eating disorders and so on. Mental disorders are common. Some disorders may be
very limited in their functional effects, while others may involve substantial
disability and support needs. The causes of mental disorders are varied and in some
cases unclear. As large numbers of people suffer from mental illness, and effective treatment is still not available, close
attention and further research seem to be necessary and significant.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring advances in mental illness research.

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an
electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript
title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Advances in
Mental Illness Research” should be chosen during your submission.
