Special Issue on Advances in Epilepsy Research

Epilepsy is a common set of long-term neurological disorders characterized by epileptic seizures. Generally speaking, the cause is unknown, although some people develop epilepsy as the result of brain injury, alcohol misuse, among others. Epilepsy is usually treated with medication, but it cannot be cured. As one of the common diseases to human, epilepsy is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore advances in epilepsy research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Signs and symptoms of epilepsy
• Causes and mechanism of epilepsy
• Diagnosis of epilepsy
• First aid, medications, surgery and alternative medicine to epilepsy
• Prevention and prognosis of epilepsy
• Cases about epilepsy

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Advances in Epilepsy Research” should be chosen during your submission.
