Special Issue on Medicinal Chemistry

Medicinal Chemistry is a highly interdisciplinary field that combines the principles and techniques of chemistry with those of pharmacology, biology, and medicine. Its primary focus is on the discovery, design, synthesis, and optimization of new drug candidates for therapeutic use.  The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Medicinal Chemistry.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Medicinal Chemistry. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Drug Discovery and Design
• Structure-Activity Relationships (SAR)
• Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics
• Drug Metabolism and Pharmacogenomics
• Combinatorial Chemistry and Drug Libraries  
• Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD)
• Drug Delivery Systems
• Drug Safety and Toxicology

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Medicinal Chemistry” should be selected during your submission.
