Special Issue on Aeronautics & Astronautics
Aeronautics
and astronautics are two broad multidisciplinary fields that deal with the
science, technology, and engineering of flight in Earth's atmosphere and
beyond. Aeronautics involves the design, development, and use of aircraft that
travel in Earth's atmosphere, including airplanes, helicopters, gliders, and
drones. Astronautics, on the other hand, focuses on the design, development,
and use of spacecraft that operate outside of Earth's atmosphere, including
satellites, space probes, and human spacecraft such as the International Space
Station. Both aeronautics and astronautics are highly technical fields that
require a deep understanding of physics, mathematics, materials science, and
engineering principles.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Aeronautics & Astronautics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Aerodynamics
-
Aerospace engineering
-
Aircraft design
-
