Special Issue on Mathematical Functions and Applications

Function is a correspondence between sets. Special functions refer to some functions with special properties, generally with conventional names and symbols, such as gamma function, bessel function, fresnel integral, etc. They play an important role in mathematical analysis, functional analysis, physical research and engineering application. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of Mathematical Functions and Applications.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Mathematical Functions and Applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Gamma function and related functions
  • Function space and functional analysis
  • Restriction and extension
  • Classical polynomials and their extensions
  • Zeta functions
  • Special functions of mathematical physics
  • Basic elementary function and applications
  • Common functions
  • Interpolation and polynomials

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Mathematical Functions and Applications” should be selected during your submission.
