Special Issue on Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Logistics and Supply Chain Management is an interdisciplinary academic field that focuses on the planning, coordinating, and controlling of the movement of goods and services from suppliers to customers. It encompasses all functions related to the management of physical goods and services, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and customer service. The goal of Logistics and Supply Chain Management is to optimize the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain by minimizing cost, improving quality, and increasing customer satisfaction. It is a critical aspect of business operations, and research in this field seeks to identify best practices, develop innovative solutions, and improve logistics and supply chain performance.
