Special Issue on
Advances in GIS and Its Applications
Advances
in GIS and Its Applications explore the continuous development of Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) and their expanding use across various sectors. GIS
technology integrates spatial data with analytical tools, enabling more
effective decision-making in fields such as urban planning, environmental
management, agriculture, and disaster response. Recent advancements include
real-time data processing, 3D modeling, and the integration of artificial
intelligence and machine learning, which enhance the precision and efficiency
of spatial analyses. As GIS continues to evolve, its applications are
increasingly pivotal in addressing complex global challenges, including climate
change, resource management, and sustainable development.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Advances in GIS and Its Applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
