Materials and Methods: The present study is exploratory in nature and focuses on the impact of life events and workplace stressors on the causes of occupational stress. The study population includes management and employees of small-sized IT organizations located in Pune and Chandigarh. The sample organizations were selected using a random sampling technique, comprising three small-scale IT units from Pune and three from Chandigarh. The total sample size was approximately 300 respondents, with 150 employees from Pune and 150 from Chandigarh. A stratified random sampling technique was employed to select the respondents.
