Special Issue on
Bioengineering and Biomedical Devices
Bioengineering and Biomedical Devices
represent a dynamic and interdisciplinary field that integrates engineering
principles with biological and medical sciences to design, develop, and
optimize technologies that improve human health and quality of life. This area
encompasses advances in biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical imaging,
biosensors, prosthetics, surgical robotics, and implantable devices, as well as
emerging innovations in nanomedicine, bioprinting, and digital health
technologies. By bridging scientific discovery with clinical application,
research in this field drives the development of innovative diagnostic tools,
therapeutic systems, and life-supporting devices, addressing critical
healthcare challenges and shaping the future of modern medicine.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Bioengineering
and Biomedical Devices. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Artificial organs
-
Biomaterials engineering
-
Biomechanics
-
