Special Issue on Discrete Mathematics and Applications
Discrete
Mathematics and Applications focuses on the study of mathematical structures
that are fundamentally discrete rather than continuous, and their wide-ranging
applications across science, technology, and industry. Core areas include graph
theory, combinatorics, number theory, logic, and algorithms, as well as their
connections to optimization, cryptography, network design, data analysis, and
computer science. By emphasizing both theoretical foundations and practical
implementations, this issue seeks to highlight how discrete mathematical
methods provide powerful tools for solving complex real-world problems in areas
such as information security, communication systems, artificial intelligence,
and computational biology. The goal is to bridge pure research with applied
innovations, fostering interdisciplinary insights and advancing the role of
discrete mathematics in addressing contemporary challenges.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Discrete
Mathematics and Applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Binary trees
-
Binomial theorem
-
