ABSTRACT: Corruption is a societal challenge facing many governments and human institutions globally. This paper presents the analysis of a deterministic model of corruption taking into account honest/incorruptible individuals. We first proved that the model formulated is well-posed. We computed the corruption-free equilibrium state, the corruption basic reproduction number (
R
0
) and established that the corruption-free state is locally and globally stable whenever
R
0
<1
and unstable if
R
0
>1
. We have also shown that the proposed model admits a unique and globally stable endemic equilibrium when
R
0
>1
. Furthermore, we conducted numerical simulations to demonstrate the validity of the model.
