As such, organizations must try their best to ensure employees are compliant. The human resource department is often in a suitable position to ensure compliance. That is because they manage employees, and influence employee behavior. The aim of this study is to prove that human resource departments can promote adherence to ethics and compliance programs. Through the use of a qualitative study in the form of a literature review, the research proves that human resource departments have significant control over compliance. That is because they can influence employee behavior in a variety of ways as well as regulate the recruitment process.
