ABSTRACT: Since brought up in 2013, the One Belt One Road Initiative has made some great achievements in Africa. With five years of development, the roles of the African countries have become more important and clearer; the impact of the One Belt One Road Initiative on China has increased greatly as well. The cooperation between Africa and China under the One Belt One Road Initiative has benefited both sides and will continue to develop as China’s top policy in Africa. Thus it is important to look back at the One Belt One Road Initiative in Africa after five years in order to draw lessons from the past and sum up the experience and advice for future development. This article analyzes the profits that China benefits domestically and internationally from the cooperation and then points out the problems and obstacles lying ahead.
