Special Issue on Applied Discrete Mathematics
Applied
Discrete Mathematics examines the practical use of discrete mathematical
structures and methods to solve problems in science, engineering, and
information technology. It deals with mathematical concepts that involve
distinct and countable elements, such as graphs, networks, sets, sequences, and
combinatorial structures. The field develops analytical and computational
techniques to address issues in areas including computer science, operations
research, cryptography, communication networks, and algorithm design. By
combining theoretical foundations with real-world applications, applied
discrete mathematics provides essential tools for modeling complex systems,
optimizing processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making in modern
technological environments.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring Applied
Discrete Mathematics. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
