Embedded Systems Design and Applications

Embedded Systems Design and Applications focuses on the principles, methodologies, and practical implementations of computing systems that are tightly integrated with hardware to perform dedicated functions within larger systems. This special issue covers advances in embedded hardware and software co-design, real-time and cyber-physical systems, low-power and high-performance architectures, embedded artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT) platforms, and system reliability and security. Emphasis is placed on innovative design techniques, development tools, and real-world applications across domains such as industrial automation, smart devices, automotive and transportation systems, healthcare technologies, robotics, and intelligent infrastructure, highlighting both theoretical progress and applied solutions that address current and emerging challenges in embedded systems engineering.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Embedded Systems Design and Applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
