Special Issue on Bacteriology
Bacteriology is the study of bacteria, focusing on
their structure, function, genetics, and ecology. This field examines both
beneficial and pathogenic bacteria, exploring their roles in human health,
disease, and environmental processes. Bacteriologists investigate bacterial
behavior, antibiotic resistance, and methods for diagnosis and treatment. The
insights gained from bacteriology contribute to advancements in medicine, food
safety, environmental science, and biotechnology, enhancing our understanding
of bacterial impact on various ecosystems.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on Bacteriology. Potential topics include,
but are not limited to:
-
Medical bacteriology
-
Clinical bacteriology
-
Pathogenic bacteriology
