Special Issue on Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology
Industrial
Microbiology and Biotechnology is a field of applied microbiology that involves
the use of microorganisms and their derivatives to produce industrial products,
processes, or services. It encompasses the development and production of a wide
range of products, including antibiotics, vaccines, enzymes, biofuels, and
biopolymers, through the manipulation and application of biological entities.
This discipline plays a crucial role in enhancing food production,
environmental protection, and in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, and chemical
industries, leveraging biotechnological techniques for innovation and
sustainability.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers
and authors to submit original research and review articles on Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Fermentation technology
-
Pharmaceutical microbiology
-
Environmental biotechnology
-
Biodegradation and bioremediation
-
Food microbiology and biotechnology
-
Biofuels and bioenergy
-
Agricultural biotechnology
-
Enzyme engineering and technology
-
Microbial genetics and metabolic engineering
-
Microbial physiology and biochemistry
-
Bioprocess engineering
-
Synthetic biology
-
Microbial ecology and diversity
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully
before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of
their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Industrial Microbiology &
Biotechnology” should
be chosen during your submission.
