Special Issue on Sociology, Economics and Health

Health sociology examines the interaction between society and health. As a field of study it is interested in all aspects of life, including comtemporary as well as historical influences, that impact and alter our health and wellbeing.
Health economics is concerned with issues related to efficiency, effectiveness, value and behavior in the production and consumption of health and healthcare. Health economics is important in determining how to improve health outcomes and lifestyle patterns through interactions between individuals, healthcare providers and clinical settings.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Sociology, Economics and Health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
