Special Issue on Infectious Diseases and Public Health
Public
health is a discipline dedicated to improving the health of populations by
preventing diseases and injuries before they occur. Analyzing the health of a
population and the threats it faces is the basis for public health. Infectious
diseases is a medical specialty dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of
complex infections. Both infection control and public health are focused on
preventing the spread of disease.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
