Special Issue on Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology
Astrophysics
and Cosmology involve the study of the physical processes that govern the
behavior of astronomical objects, and the study of the origin, evolution,
composition, and fate of the Universe as a whole. Many of the most vexing and fundamental unsolved
problems in physics are being tackled by our group. The majority of the matter in the Universe is
not made of the standard model particles we know, but instead of a new component
of the Universe, dark matter. The goal of this
special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over
the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in
the area of Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and
authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Gravitation,
Astrophysics and Cosmology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
-
Theories
of the very early universe
-
Astronomical
detectors and techniques
-
Black
holes and neutron stars
-
Cosmology,
gravitation physics
-
Planets,
stars and galaxies
-
Approaches
to cosmic acceleration, including modified gravity
-
The
properties of dark matter and dark energy, and their influence on the formation
of galaxies
-
The
nonlinear growth of structure in the Universe
-
The
evolution of galaxies through the epoch of reionization and into the recent era
-
Millimeter
and sub-millimeter observations of galaxy clusters, and of star and galaxy
formation
-
Observations
of transient phenomena in the Universe
-
Detection
of planets and planet-forming systems around nearby stars
-
Observations
of the Solar System beyond Neptune
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should
submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper
Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Gravitation, Astrophysics and
Cosmology” should be selected
during your submission.
