Special Issue on 

Productivity, Efficiency, and Sustainability in Agriculture

In traditional measurement of agri­cultural productivity geographers and economists used to take into account the inputs like labour and capital and see them as costs which are incurred in the production of agricultural produce. The tra­ditional approach of measurement of agricultural productivity, how­ever, does not take into account of social and environmental costs which are also incurred in the production of crops and raising live­stock. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of Productivity, Efficiency, and Sustainability in Agriculture.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Productivity, Efficiency, and Sustainability in Agriculture. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Productivity, efficiency and resilience of crop
• Productivity, efficiency and resilience of livestock
• Productivity and efficiency measurement in agriculture
• Productivity and efficiency measurement in agriculture
• Determinants of productivity and efficiency
• Sources of productivity growth
• Productivity, efficiency and technical change
• Economic sustainability of agriculture

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
