Special Issue on Computational Linguistics
Computational
linguistics is the study of computational processing, understanding and
generation of human language. It
includes natural language processing (NLP). Applications of computational
linguistics include machine translation, speech recognition, information
retrieval, intelligent web search, intelligent spell checking and
human-machine communication. The goal of this special issue is to provide a
platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share,
and discuss various
new issues and developments in the area of Computational
Linguistics.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Computational
Linguistics.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Computational models of discourse and
dialogue
-
Algorithms and models for speech recognition
and synthesis
-
Natural language processing for speech
understanding and generation
-
Information retrieval, extraction and
summarization
-
Signal processing for speech analysis,
enhancement and transformation
-
Speaker and language recognition
-
Computational models of speech production and
perception
-
Machine translation
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission
System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Computational
Linguistics” should be selected during your submission.
