Special Issue on Urban Planning and Management

Urban planning is a technical and political process concerned with the development and design of land use and the built environment, including air, water, and the infrastructure passing into and out of urban areas, such as transportation, communications, and distribution networks. Urban planning deals with physical layout of human settlements. Urban management is the administration, organization and planning performed for cities or towns, particularly the process of converting farmland or undeveloped land into offices, businesses, housing and other forms of development.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Urban Planning and Management. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Urban facilities and basic services
• Urbanization
• Housing and urban research

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Urban Planning and Management” should be chosen during your submission.
