Special Issue on Groundwater Management and Protection
Groundwater refers to
the water that exists in the rock gaps below the ground. Groundwater is an
important part of water resources. Due to the stable water volume and good
water quality, it is one of the important water sources for agricultural
irrigation, industrial mining and water consumption in the cities. However,
under certain conditions, changes in groundwater can also cause unfavourable
natural phenomena such as swamping, salinization, landslides, and land
subsidence. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of Groundwater Management
and Protection.
In this special issue,
we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original
research and review articles on exploring Groundwater Management and
Protection. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Groundwater pollution, treatment and remediation
-
Groundwater utilization
-
Groundwater quality monitoring and protection
-
Groundwater simulation models
-
Groundwater and environmental change
-
Groundwater ecology and biodiversity
-
