Special Issue on Neonatal Care
Management of preterm infants in neonatal intensive care units can be broadly categorized as supportive or reactive. Supportive care aims to maintain normal homeostatic functioning through respiratory, cardiac and nutritional support. Reactive care involves treatment of a neonate’s medical complications, such as sepsis, patent ductus arteriosus, necrotizing enterocolitis, retinopathy of prematurity or neurological issues.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring neonatal care. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Neonatal and infant care
-
Intensive care
-
High dependency care
-
Low dependency
-
Transitional care
-
Special care
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Neonatal Care” should be selected during your submission.
