Special Issue on Computational Physics

Computational physics studies how to apply high speed computers to solve complex computational problems in physics research. The development of computational physics has been evolving along with the rapid growth of computer functions. Computational method of is also gradually developed from a simple, parameterized method to the method based on basic principle of physics. Theoretical physics provides the theoretical principles and mathematical equations of computational physics, and experimental physics provides the data needed. The conclusion also needs theoretical and experimental physics to analyze and verify. For experimental physics, computational physics can help solve the analysis of experimental data, control experimental equipment, automatic data acquisition and simulation process. For theoretical physics, computational physics can provide computational data for theoretical physics. This special issue will be focusing on studying computational physics and its applications in related fields.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring computational physics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Physical computing model
• Quantum computation
• Computational solid physics
• Computational mechanics
• Computational astrophysics
• Computational particle physics
• Statistical physics
