Special Issue on Information Economics
Information economics focuses on the study of how information and information systems affect an economy and economic decisions. It offers insights into the dynamics of information across networked systems like the Internet. Information has special characteristics (easy to create but hard to trust, easy to spread but hard to control), which complicate many standard economic theories.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Information Economics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
E-commerce
-
Information asymmetry
-
Perfect information
-
Information technology
-
Information goods
-
Information industries
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Information Economics” should be selected during your submission.
