Special Issue on

Cement, Concrete, Reinforced and Building Materials

In its simplest form, concrete is a mixture of paste and aggregates (rocks). Through a series of chemical reactions called hydration, the paste hardens and gains strength to form the rock-like mass known as concrete.Within this process lies the key to a remarkable trait of concrete: it's plastic and malleable when newly mixed, strong and durable when hardened. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of cement, concrete, reinforced and building materials.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore cement, concrete, reinforced and building materials. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Cement and concrete technology
  • Modification of construction and building materials
  • Properties, modeling and testing of construction and building materials
  • Structural and microstructure
  • The properties of cement and concrete
  • Applications for cement and concrete
  • Biodeterioration of construction and building materials
  • Sustainability of construction and building materials

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Cement, Concrete, Reinforced and Building Materials should be selected during your submission.
