Special Issue on Treatments for Coronary Artery Disease
Coronary Artery Disease also called coronary heart disease, or simply, heart disease,
a result of plaque buildup in your coronary arteries -- a condition called atherosclerosis -- that leads to blockages. The arteries, which start out
smooth and elastic, become narrow and stiff. The most concerning part of coronary artery disease is that the
plaque could rupture, leading to a heart attack and potentially sudden cardiac death.
Medical care is
essential once heart disease is diagnosed, with the goals of stabilizing the
condition immediately, controlling symptoms over the long term, and providing a
cure when possible.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Coronary Artery Disease. Potential topics include, but are not
limited to:
· Medications Treatments
· Surgery Treatment
· Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)
· Heart Transplant
· Plant-Based Diet for Heart Health
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special
Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Treatments for Coronary Artery Disease” should be selected during your
submission.
