Special Issue on Research on
Rice
Rice is the seed of grass family
plants which belongs to the direct economic crop. As a crop, it is the most
important grain with regard to human nutrition and energy generation, providing
staple food consumed worldwide by humans. There are many varieties of rice tend
to vary regionally. Rice can be grown in different environments, depending upon
water availability such as lowland, deep water, coastal wetland and upland.
Excepting for edible, rice is used as wine, sugar and industrial raw material. Rice
hull and straw are also useful to humans. So it
is important to research techniques of rice, which aims to reduce poverty and
hunger, improve the health of rice farmers and consumers, and ensure
environmental sustainability of rice farming.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring research on rice. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:

Authors
