Special Issue on Electrophysiology
Electrophysiology is the study of the electrical properties of biological cells and tissues. It involves measurements of voltage change or electric current on a wide variety of scales from single ion channel proteins to whole organs like the heart.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring electrophysiology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Principles and mechanisms
-
Electrographic modalities by body part
-
Optical electrophysiological techniques
-
Intracellular recording
-
Extracellular recording
-
Planar patch clamp
-
Other methods
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Electrophysiology” should be selected during your submission.
