Special Issue on Crime and Punishment

In modern criminal law, the term “crime” does not have universally accepted definition. It can be simply viewed as an act prohibited and punished by law, especially when the punishment is a serious one such as imprisonment. Nowadays, corruption, trafficking, rape, forgery, murder ... various crimes constantly occur. What are the suitable punishments for the criminals? What are your insights regarding some latest criminal events?

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Crime and Punishment. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Juvenile crime
  • Robbery
  • Smuggle
  • Drug trafficking
  • Human trafficking
  • Statutory rape
  • Life imprisonment
  • Death sentence
  • Religion and crime
  • Forgery, personation and cheating
  • Causes and correlates of crime

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Crime and Punishment” should be selected during your submission.
