Special Issue on Vocational and Adult Education

Vocational education is designed to equip students with the proper means for arriving at their selected goals and professional development. While, adult vocational education attempts to discover new methods and create new incentive for learning and reorient their career. It helps adults to acquire or improve basic career skills necessary to function in today’s society so that they can benefit from the completion of enhanced family life, attaining citizenship and participating in job training and retraining programs and even preparing for an active way to work after retirement. Vocational and adult education are playing a more and more important role in the global economy, which face the challenges of constant renewal in both developing and industrialized countries.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring vocational and adult education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Vocational counseling
  • Training approaches
  • Adult education and literacy
  • Career and technical education
  • Community education
  • Workforce and professional development
  • Challenges of renewal
  • Work in future society
  • Vocational lifelong learning
  • Change of labour market
