Special Issue on Groundwater Research

Groundwater is a key component of the hydrologic system. Groundwater is not only a vital water resource for human consumption but there are also intense exchange processes and interconnections with surface waters, terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. The sustainable use and protection of groundwater resources requires intact ecosystems. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of groundwater research.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore groundwater research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Interaction between groundwater and surface water
• Groundwater pollution
• Groundwater utilization
• Groundwater ecosystem
• Groundwater protection
• Groundwater analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Groundwater Research” should be selected during your submission.
