Special Issue on Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics
Thermodynamics is the study of the internal motions of many-body systems. Virtually all physical entities that we encounter in everyday life are many-body systems of some type or other (e.g., solids, liquids, gases, and even electromagnetic radiation). Therefore, thermodynamics is a discipline with an exceptionally wide range of applicability. Indeed, thermodynamics is one of the most extensively used subfields of physics outside physics departments. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of thermodynamics and statistical physics.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore thermodynamics and statistical physics. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Heat and Work
-
Statistical thermodynamics
-
Classical Thermodynamics
-
Applications of statistical thermodynamics
-
Quantum statistics
-
Ensemble theory
-
Classical thermodynamics system
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics” should be selected during your submission.
