Special Issue on Teacher Education

 

This special issue mainly focuses on the policies, procedures and development about how to be a professional teacher. Those prospective teachers equip themselves with knowledge, attitudes, behaviors and skills they require to perform their tasks effectively in the classroom, school and wider community. Teaching involves the use of a wide body of knowledge about the subject being taught, and another set of knowledge about the most effective ways to teach that subject to different kinds of learner; it therefore requires teachers to undertake a complex set of tasks every minute. What’s more the world that teachers are asking to prepare young people to enter is changing so rapidly, so that continuous professional development is the process by which teachers reflect upon their competences, maintain them up to date, and develop them further. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for professors and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of teacher education.

 

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to contribute original research and review articles on teacher education. The topics to be covered by this special issue include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Teacher education
  • Teacher training
  • Teacher development
  • Teacher certification
  • Schools of education
  • Teaching skills
  • Teacher performance

 

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Teacher Education should be chosen during your submission.
