Special Issue on Programming Languages
Programming Languages are the primary vehicles for supporting the practices of software engineering. It is important, therefore, that they should be well designed and implemented. Programmers want languages that are easy to learn, use, and understand. During the past several decades, there are lots of programming languages which have been invented and revised, but no one could be the only general programming language. This special issue will be focused on studying different kinds of programming languages and their applications.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring programming languages. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
The usages of programming languages in software engineering practices
-
Languages for modeling
-
Program analysis and verification
-
Language design and implementation
-
Program generation and transformation
-
New programming concepts and paradigms
-
Programming languages from all paradigms (Aspect-Oriented, Concurrent, Functional, Logic, Object-Oriented, Component-based, etc.)
-
Practical experiences with programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python, XML, OpenCL, etc.)
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Programming Languages” should be chosen during your submission.
